Bottle Inspection

Basic bottle shape with a standard screw on black cap. The suace is a semi trasparenttan sauce with bits of pepper floating around inside of it.

Pourability

The sauce moves quickly indicating a thinner sauce. Be careful as it comes out of the bottle fast. Zero concern of not being able to get all of the sauce out of the bottle.

Smell & Taste

This sauce has a sweet vinegar smell to it. Similar to that of Luisiana or Crystal hot sauces. There is a tinge of peppery bite that rings in. This is a very tame sauce for Scotch Bonnet. With the number one ingtredient being water, that is not a surprise. It has a vinegary sweetness that is followed by a light burn.

Final Thoughts

This is a nice tame sauce that allows for one to enjoy some heat and flavor missing from a lot of standard sauces. The heat is a bit of a dissapointment. This is scotch bonnet! It should be way hotter than it is. There is even Habanero in it! This sauce is obviously tamed down with the water and vinegar. Its nice to have after a very hot sauce, so you can keep riding the heat train without increasing the burn.

Chris Thompson

Chris found his love for hot sauce in 2009. After moving away from home and learning to cook, he ruined many meals. Being too poor to throw the food away, it was then covered in hot sauce just to make it edible. This quickly evolved into a love for the nuances and intricacies of various peppers and how they can change the overall depth of a dish.
