Bottle Inspection

Sturdy Clear Plastic with a Gold cap. It looks very much like a small liqour bottle.

Pourability

At first glance this sauce has the consistency of Nyquil. It pours slowly in large amounts. No doubt as a result of the honey in it.

Smell & Taste

The smell of honey shines through in this sauce. It is 100% the normal sriracha smell that you expect, but with a little something extra. The taste though, Oh my. The honey is a perfect accent to Sriracha! You get that sweet thickness immediately that is followed by a light sting in the back of the throat. Then it lingers on the middle of the tongue for a 30 seconds before moving to the tip, and then dissipating. The honey is far more prominent than the Sriracha flavor.

Final Thoughts

Dont even bother with the tiny bottle of this sauce. Just go for the big one! This sauce is a perfect compliement to almost anything. The honey give this sauce more versatility than regular Srirachas. The honey does cut the heat though. Thus making this sauce a great safe Sriracha for those looking for something a bit more tame.

Chris Thompson

Chris found his love for hot sauce in 2009. After moving away from home and learning to cook, he ruined many meals. Being too poor to throw the food away, it was then covered in hot sauce just to make it edible. This quickly evolved into a love for the nuances and intricacies of various peppers and how they can change the overall depth of a dish.
